Hey Curlygirls! How's the mane? Jamila is the name and I have been rocking my natural hair approximately two years. This blog was created for academic purposes (believe it or not). Though it is in fact for my Social Media Communications class, I am extremely passionate about girls and women loving themselves. I have had many persons ask me "Do you think natural hair will suit me?" My response is always, "It grows directly out of your scalp, I do not know how much more for you it can be!" At KCBC naturalistas can learn how to manage, maintain, style and rock their natural hair with confidence!! You will also be seeing a few featured posts on "Diaries of a curly coily girl" and general daily motivational posts. 

Remember, wearing your natural hair is not just a style or trend but it's a sisterhood and community where newbies are welcomed with wide arms and big hair!
